Monthly Report Cards: November 2014 Goals
What? It's November? These past two months have flown by, goodness gracious!
On to my goals for this month.
Document my trip to Germany
I read an article about documenting your train journey with photographs. They had some really neat ideas that I'm excited to try out.
Film another music video
Quinne and I already have another song in mind. We just have to get it done :)
Take a break from writing
I'm running out of ideas, time to take a break and recharge.
Draw
I haven't been doing this much. Plus I just of a Deviant art account. Yay for extra motivation!
You can read Johanna's here (well if she does one that is. hint hint ;) )

Steampunk Legolas
Long version or the short version?
Long version:
Johanna made me read Behemoth by Scott Westerfeld (neglecting to mention that it's book 2 in a trilogy) So I read it, and it was World War I, only it was steampunk, and they were in Istanbul, and the book was illustrated by Keith Thompson and I loved it.
So then I felt like trying to draw steampunk, and instead I just sat at the computer and drooled over Mr. Thompson's art. And then Johanna said we should watch the extended Fellowship of the Ring, and I was like "no I gotta draw steampunk" so then she's suggested that we draw LOTR characters as steampunk people. And of course I agreed, so while Merry was breaking things and Frodo was being stabbed I drew this:
Short version:
I drew steampunk Legolas:
So then today I drew this: (it was really hard not to Google "steampunk Legolas" but I didn't because I wanted it to come out of my own head)

And I liked it, and Johanna liked it but she said I should try it again.

Which I like.
That's it folks, the story of how I drew steampunk Legolas. Exciting no? No. Sunday, May 11, 2014
Captain Frozen
I send Johanna this picture. And then she said Kristoff as the Falcon! And I was like oh yes.
So this happened.
So this happened.
Booyakasha.
Kristoff as the Falcon.
Annnd then this sort of happened:
Captain Anna
So of course I had to draw Elsa as the Winter Soldier
And to complete the set I drew Hans as Brock Rumlow (that Hydra hit man dude).
Which seems to be a mistake, Has doesn't really look like Hans....
But it was fun anyways (:

Just a Few Drawings
Hello again!
Thought I'd post some drawings. Maybe I'll make this a regular thing.

Princess Anna.
I found a tutorial for her head a shoulders, but I drew the rest.

Used a picture reference.
Not 100% pleased with Anna's face,
but there is only so much I can do about it now :P

Drawing
Yesterday Johanna, Sam and I got together and searched drawing tutorials on YouTube. It was fun because we plugged Johanna's computer into the TV so it was BIG. These are my best drawings:
Purple Minion - Despicable Me 2
(Thrilled how it worked out. Awesome right?)
Sandy - Rise of the Guardians
(Yay!)
(Yay!)
Batman!!
(drawing muscles are harder than you might think...)
Kyoya - Beyblade
(surprised that it actually looks like him)
