Merry Christmas/ Happy New Year
Merry Christmas people!!
This is me wishing you a fantabulous day!!
(I meant to post this a few days ago...)
And Happy New Year!!
We all got up at 6:30 Christmas morning to open presents before Dad had to leave for work. It was fun! I enjoyed it thoroughly, I got headphones with a mic attached so I’m hoping to do some better quality recording. I’m excited!! :D
It's been a great week so far weather wise, sunshine and +14! We played catch yesterday, turns out Sam has a good arm on him.
I can't believe that it's going to be 2013, where did 2012 go? Oh well, what can you do? But I must say 2012 was a pretty great year :)

A rambling post about Christmas/chocolate/and turtles
Yippeeeeee! Today I finished my Christmas shopping! Yup that’s right, I’m allll done :) 9 days before Christmas! That’s actually not a great accomplishment…. But I've done worse in past years ….
It was rainy today, but not very cold, unless you get wet. School is going OK I’m not hating Saxon Math like I did the last time I did it, which is good. Ummmm what else to tell you….. Uhhhhh Did I say I FINALLY saw Captain America? Well I did and it was awesome! But the ending is so sad :( but not that sad :P But sad :(
I tried to make mint chocolate bark today, the way you’re supposed to do it is stir crushed candy canes in to the melted chocolate then sprinkle some on top. It didn’t go so well…..Because Dad was napping I ended up dissolving the mints (instead of whacking the life out of them with a spoon/hammer) and stirring them into the chocolate; so what I ended up with is more like mint chocolate than a bark. I don’t really know exactly how it turned out …it’s still in the freezer freezing.
Which reminds me; on my excursion today I found and empty turtle shell. It made me feel sad for the turtle, but I had a good look at it. All was left was most of the bones, which was neat to examine. I keep on thinking that perhaps I should carry plastic gloves with me when I go neighbourhood-trotting…
I feel like I've been rambling…..

12/12/12
This is neat, twelfth day of the twelfth month of the twelfth year.
I love patterns.
And stuff that matches :)
On the subject of matching numbers Taylor Swift will be 23 on December 13.
December 13 is also the premiere of her 23 video.
How neat is that?

Daz Studio 4.5
Johanna showed me a program that she downloaded off the internet. It’s called Daz 4.5 (64bit), I’m practically obsessed with it! It allows you to pose 3D models; sadly the free down load doesn't come with very many clothes, you have to buy and download (I think you can make clothes but I’m not sure) clothes from their website. Even with the limited clothing options I've had so much fun with this program! It’s rather difficult pose the characters but I’m learning it slowly. These are some of the things I've made with it:

Rolling in The Deep - Adele
This is one of my favourite songs right now, I've heard the Piano Guys version but then Johanna showed me the original. Her voice is amazing!!

Information About The Avengers
I know this is on a completely different topic than the last post, but I wanted to post this while it was still fresh in my mind. My friend Quinne and I (with some help from Johanna) concocted the contents of this list.
Behold! The list of what most of the major characters in the Avengers smell like!
Name: Agent Phil Coulson
Smells like: Nothing
Name: Black Widow/ "Natasha" Alianovna Romanova
Smells like: Some expensive Russian perfume
Name: Captain America/ Steve Rogers
Smells Like: Old Spice
Name: Hawkeye/Clint Barton
Smells like: Irish Springs
Name: the Hulk/ Bruce Banner
Smells like: The Hulk smells like sweat and Banner smells like he just had a shower. (ie nothing, besides maybe a little disinfectant)
Name: Loki
Smells like: Real power (it's probably some manly perfume or shower gel)
Name: Nick Fury
Smells like: Nothing/manly (whatever that smells like)
Name: Thor
Smells like: Hammer Wielder (It's an Asgardian perfume that comes in a bottle shaped like a hammer)

On a More Serious Note
I’ve been thinking a lot of depressing thoughts lately( but I’m glad to report I am far from depressed). Mostly thoughts about the World Wars; I can’t imagine what it was like to see so much death. I mean, it was horrible just being at Anzac Cove, and standing where so many people died. I got an unfamiliar feeling while I was there; like I was full of nothing…

An Outing
Sooo yesterday Dad and I went to the field, he had a project and I just wanted to get out of the house. Dad worked on his project and I took some pictures.

It's raining. Again
1. Turn up your music so you can hear it upstairs or down
2. Sing at the top of your lungs extremely off key
3. Act out a story, playing all the characters yourself
4. Play the piano horribly
Anyways…
Well the last storm finally ended, and now it's raining. But I don't mind because the power isn't off and there aren't any ridiculously strong winds or lightning. I don't mind wind or lightening but they do get old.
I have the feeling that this will be a short post.

Stuff
Hey.
You probably thought I got sick or something. Nothing for two days, well nothing if you only read this part of my blog ;)
We are having the longest storm I have ever seen.
Ever.
It started yesterday, it's wet, cold, grey, and there is thunder. There are some brakes; but nothing to brag about. The light had made my room a very gloomy place. It's dark but not enough for the light to be any help. Sigh.
Hello winter.
I got Taylor Swift's album this morning, about two hours after it came out. And I printed the album booklet and taped the printouts to my wall.
I've been spending a lot of my time making bracelets. I used a beading loom to make these. It's a fun pass time, but it can get confusing when you're doing a complicated pattern.
The top one I made a while ago but I remade it today so that it would fit me.
The bottom one I made a few days ago, stripes are still cool.
My room is starting to feel smaller. In a good way though. Before we came back for the summer I had nothing on the wall; save a poster or something. Now I have stuff taped to my walls and photos I took in the summer hanging from my ceiling. It's a good kind of smaller.

Hey :)
How are you today? That's good;
I just thought that I'd come and tell you that I cut my hair yesterday.
Now I have bangs! I haven't had blunt bangs since I was like, uhhhhhh 8?
Buuut I really like it. :)
Mmmm chocolate milkshake, in Greece!
